1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing recorder.bashige.com (“Voice Recorder Online”, “the Service”) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of the service
Voice Recorder Online is a free tool that runs entirely in your web browser. It lets you record audio from your microphone, from your computer's system audio, or both, and export the result as a WAV or MP3 file. No account is required.
3. License to use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for lawful personal or business purposes, in accordance with these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- violate any applicable law or regulation;
- record anyone without their consent where consent is required (two-party/one-party consent laws vary by jurisdiction);
- infringe copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights of others;
- harass, threaten, defraud or harm others;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, overload or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- redistribute the Service as your own service or rebrand it without our written permission.
5. Your content
You are the sole owner of the audio you record. Because processing happens locally, we never receive it. You are solely responsible for your recordings and for having all rights and consents needed to record and use them.
6. Intellectual property
The Service — including its design, code, branding and text — is owned by BashiGe Studio and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party libraries used (such as the open-source lamejs MP3 encoder) remain under their respective licenses.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any recording will meet your requirements or be of any particular quality.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BashiGe Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or recordings, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us (which is zero, as the Service is free) or the maximum amount permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Third-party advertisements
The Service displays ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are provided by third parties; we do not endorse and are not responsible for the content of any advertisement. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and them.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or discontinue access if you breach these Terms, or for maintenance, operational or legal reasons, with or without notice.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
12. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version; continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
